Four applications, two hardware devices, a third in progress.

GitaVardhan, live on the App Store and Google Play. Kannada Vardhan, live on both. Tamil Vardhan and Telugu Vardhan, live on Google Play with iOS coming soon. Two working hardware readers, an e-ink build and a touchscreen build, with a third device under way.

Robotics

The prototypes exist. The bench is the limit.

The same hands that built the two Gītā readers have been building robotics prototypes, on the same principle: buy the cheapest parts that will do the job, wire them by hand, and write the firmware yourself.

Sensing
Working prototypes using thermal, LiDAR and inertial measurement unit sensors, read and fused on the microcontroller rather than off device
Actuation
Servo and stepper driven robotic arms, driven by voice command, built on the same on device speech recognition as the GitaVardhan readers
Method
Designed, wired and coded by him, in C and Python, on breadboard before anything is committed to a board
What funding buys
Better sensors and actuators than pocket money reaches, a proper bench, and the fabrication to turn a working breadboard into something that can be handed to somebody else

He intends to become a research scientist, in nuclear fusion and space technology. The robotics work is where that starts.
